About Kieran

Research taught me to ask better questions. Teaching asks me to act on them.

I'm Kieran Green. After working in qualitative and applied research—often around belonging, wellbeing, relationships and people's everyday lives—I am beginning a Primary PGCE.

Becoming Primary is both a public learning record and a developing professional portfolio. I share the reading that informs me, the questions I carry into training and honest reflections on how my practice changes.

I hope fellow trainees and teachers find useful ideas and points of comparison here. For colleagues and schools, the site also offers a clear picture of how I approach evidence, reflection and professional development.
